Materials from plastic waste present a technological challenge.
Recycling of plastic films from industrial wastes is currently gaining increased importance in order to reduce costs associated with raw materials, supply enough quantities of plastic materials and reduce CO2 emissions of the industry. In most industrial production processes where plastic films have been printed, a portion of the material is discarded for not complying with the final specifications required or simply because it comes from the initial settings for the start-up of printing machines (see Figure 1).
