Consulting Team Expands at Gravure Association of the Americas
Two Industry Veterans to Offer Guidance and Advice on Success with Gravure
In keeping with its mission to improve and enhance the professional experience for operators working with the gravure process, the Gravure Association of the Americas (GAA) announced today the recent addition of two consultants to the organization’s consulting division which specializes in technical advice and troubleshooting.
Bob Kikkert brings 36 total years in the printing industry with a specialty in packaging, which also includes 17 years of experience working in the manufacturing management of print companies utilizing rotogravure equipment. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions in manufacturing, operations, pressroom supervision, waste control superintendent, and waste control manager. Mike Gaffney offers nearly 35 years in the industry, opening new facilities, purchasing and acquiring new businesses, flexography, print production, cylinder finishing, and managing gravure and graphics business. Throughout his career, he has worked with top names in the industry including Sonoco, Keating Gravure UK (Trident Charlotte), and Starpak Houston, which gives him unique first-hand insight into the needs of major print and pressrooms that serve global audiences.
